We are looking for a world class Business Development Manager – International to join our rapidly growing global talent management consultancy. If you regard yourself as a self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and an appetite for winning, and you are passionate about working for an innovative talent management consultancy, then we are very keen to hear from you. 

About the Role:

​The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, developing and securing new business for Propel International, further expanding our footprint globally in line with our strategic vision.
​​Role: Business Development Manager – International
Location: Flexible
Position: Full-Time

Key Activities:

Desirable Criteria:

  • Increase our client base internationally in accordance with Propel International’s business plan
  • Make introductions to new clients to create opportunities, analyse the client's needs, pitch, negotiate and close commercial agreements
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients
  • Build the profile of Propel International by initiating marketing activities to generate new leads
  • Identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships to add value to Propel International’s portfolio of offerings
  • Keep a close pulse on industry trends locally and internationally and provide input to product development
  • Write business proposals
  • Draft and review contracts
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Strong track record of business development and client-relationship management
  • Experience in a professional services or consulting environment
  • Knowledge in assessment tools, assessment centre exercises, talent development programs, and Executive Coaching
  • Test User Ability (formerly Level A) and Test User Personality (formerly Level B) accreditation
  • Familiarity with tools from suppliers such as Hogan, Saville Assessment, Cubiks and/or SHL
  • Post-Graduate Degree in Organisational / Occupational Psychology or related HR field
  • Enjoys making introductions, understanding the client's needs, pitching and negotiating
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English
