Propel and Alinma Bank shortlisted for the Innovation and Executive Leadership Award
Propel International partnered with Alinma Bank to implement a leadership strategy that aligns seamlessly to the organisations overall strategies. This has been recognised by the HR Excellence Awards as they have shortlisted this project and the innovative methods it used to increase the effectiveness, scale, scope and speed of leadership and development efforts for their "Innovation in Executive Leadership Development".
Alinma Bank’s mission is to provide its partners with fully Shariah-compliant financial solutions under the best work environment that helps in achieving sustainable growth and contributes to community service. Alinma Bank’s executive and managerial cadre is made up of highly talented and capable individuals, however, as the organisation has matured, there became an increasing need to strengthen the internal leadership pipeline and ensure future leaders are identified early. "Succession Planning is core to Alinma Bank’s human capital strategy and we have invested significantly in the identification of leadership talent to fill critical roles in the future. Our assessment centre programs, designed and implemented in partnership with Propel, have given us great confidence in the strength of our leadership pipeline and reassurance that our succession plans are evidence-based and supported by objective data". Dr. Sulaiman Al Hudaif – GM Human Capital, Alinma Bank. It is a strategic priority for the Bank to build a pipeline of suitable candidates to succeed senior executives in mainly “C-Suite positions”, as they move into retirement. Looking farther ahead, the Bank was also committed to cascading the succession planning programme down through the organisation, so that a continual stream of talent is identified and given the opportunity to grow and fill progressively higher-level positions over time. The winners will be announced on November 7th at the HR Excellence Awards Gala Dinner in Grand Hyatt Hotel. |
