What is this role about?

The successful candidate will be part of the Global IT Team and will be responsible for various tasks related to providing technical assistance to internal and external users.
Role: IT Support Intern
Location: Dubai, UAE
Position: Full-Time 

​What will be your roles and responsibilities?

Essential Criteria:

  • Be responsible for providing IT support to internal customers (i.e. staff), providing timely, appropriate and effective solutions to IT problems in line with customer and business expectation.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for internal IT support queries or issues received via phone, email or other medium.
  • Diagnose technical issues; gather the necessary information and perform standard, preliminary research using all relevant available resources
  • Setup and configuration of equipment for staff and maintenance of stock/asset inventory
  • Document and update support cases or issues and track incidents through to resolution/escalation
  • Escalate complex or unresolved queries or issues to the system administrator as necessary.
  • Proactively research, learn and implement emerging technologies
  • Deliver to set KPIs and SLAs
  • Undergraduate Degree in IT
  • English (native-level proficiency essential)
  • Knowledge of MS Office 365 / SharePoint
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of enterprise data center concepts (Windows, networking, server administration).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Desirable Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instruction’s knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and negotiate as well as delegate
  • Analytical, structured approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security.
