Propel New Zealand Launch EventPropel New Zealand officially launched last month! To celebrate this we held an interactive breakfast discussion event, which provided a forum to have robust talent conversations and for peers to share talent management solutions and perspectives. Topics discussed included: successes and challenges in employer branding; team effectiveness and what makes a positive impact; ways to enhance career clarity; and shifting mindsets and behaviours during change.
Martin Adams, Co-Founder and Managing Director, joined the event to share talent trends and challenges that we are seeing globally from a talent management perspective as well as examples of how some clients have overcome these. Jenny and Lucy valued the opportunity to share their vision of Propel for New Zealand which is to help organisations make better people decisions, with more certainty, through accessible solutions. |
Our New Zealand office is led by Jenny Dwyer and Lucy Cennamo-Jones who together have more than 25 years of experience in the talent management field. Both Jenny and Lucy are Registered Organisational Psychologists and are very excited to start designing and delivering technology enabled consulting solutions to clients in New Zealand.

DP World believe working in a sustainable and responsible way is essential to building a strong business for their customers, people, and society. Through their global program: ‘Our World, Our Future’ DP World have established sustainability as one of four pillars of their strategy and they weave sustainability into every aspect of their work.
DP World collaborated with Propel International to bring their global Sustainability Champions together for a two day event.
Thirty Sustainability Champions from DP World global locations took part in the two-day event where they contributed to DP World’s sustainability strategy, and explored topics such as: How can they impact and influence others? What has worked well? What is modern slavery and how can they help?

Ownership of sustainability plans was an important theme and they brainstormed how they could increase collaboration and why they should “rethink value”.
The regional sustainability champions usually spend between 30-50% of their time on sustainability and it is part of their job description. Their passion and inspiring attitude to make a difference in the world and be a ‘global citizen’ was evident during the event and served to reinforce how important their work is.
I’m a proud Propeller!

Enjoying it?
Yes! It’s fantastic to see the impact the culture change and leadership shift are having. I’m also loving talking about what Propel can do and seeing all of the client challenges that we can support on.
Anything quirky you want to share?
I started jazz ballet when I was 6 years old and haven’t been able to give it up. Each week I say good-bye to my husband and two young boys and head off to dance class!
